Managed Apps Rules

Managed Apps Rules are defined in Managed Apps view.
This view is a simple apps list. Each app comes with its own set of rules. The combination of these rules may result in five different app statuses:

app is passed
app is blocked
app is passed with some exceptions
app is blocked with some exceptions
app is in a mixed state with both pass/block rules, and may trigger notification alerts

This five statuses are highlighted by icon color, label color, and some small icons. Click the blue “i” on right top of Managed Apps view to see the legenda.
Apps order has no effect of firewall filtering, you can reorder apps in Managed Apps view as you like.
If you plan to use Vallum only for basic filtering then this view is the only one you need to master in order to get the best out of your firewall.
To edit an app’s rules select its icon in Managed Apps view and click the magnifier button to display the App Rules popover view where you can add and remove rules for selected app.
